Each year, the Group carries out an Employee Opinion Survey, which includes employees’ perceptions of their working environment. Here, we ask a number of questions about employees’ perceptions of trust, working relationships and fairness in the workplace. This is a way of gauging where we stand when it comes to social capital.

Connection with productivity and quality
Social capital is all about our working relationships and the fundamental elements required to carry out our main tasks. The measurement has been made on the basis of the Danish Working Environment Council’s guide to social capital, which rests on research on the relationship between these “soft” factors and companies’ productivity and quality.

We are pleased to report that our employees assess social capital highly. We will continue to measure social capital in the Group’s units and ensure that we maintain a high level.
