A steep learning curve

As an in-house consultant you often land right in the middle of a hectic project. It is your job to quickly understand and analyse a business unit or department that work with highly complex products and services in order to support them on a strategic level. I like that challenge because it really forces me to utilise both the analytical skills I gained at university but also the consulting methodology I have learnt after two years with Group Process Development. My learning curve so far has truly been steep.

Operational Excellence
We simplify, harmonise and consolidate processes in Danske Bank to improve flow, quality, lead-time and efficiency in order to deliver the best service to our customers. We deliver this by applying LEAN, Operations Management, Digitalisation and Customer Experience principles in close collaboration with Operations and Business Units.

We perform most of our work in project environment, applying Agile and other project management standards.

Leading an international team

As an engineering student I discovered that I actually preferred working with people and processes rather than formulas and technical calculations. Today I head two specialist teams split between Denmark and Lithuania and I really enjoy supporting them in developing and succeeding by providing best in class solutions to managers in Danske Bank. When you are a leader you spend a lot of time in meetings focusing on the strategic direction but I like that I still get to use my specialist skills to drive the development forward.
