A steep learning curve

As an in-house consultant you often land right in the middle of a hectic project. It is your job to quickly understand and analyse a business unit or department that work with highly complex products and services in order to support them on a strategic level. I like that challenge because it really forces me to utilise both the analytical skills I gained at university but also the consulting methodology I have learnt after two years with Group Process Development. My learning curve so far has truly been steep.

If you asked me 15 years ago my goal was to be an electrician, 10 years ago I wanted to be an electrical engineer – now I work with developing and stream lining banking processes as a Senior Consultant in Danske Bank’s in-house consultancy. We support the automation of customer journeys across Danske Bank. We design digitalised customer-centric end-to-end process flows. Leading an international team

As an engineering student I discovered that I actually preferred leading people rather than working with machines. Today I head two groups of consultants split between Denmark and Lithuania and I really enjoy supporting them in developing and succeeding. When you are a leader you spend a lot of time in meetings focusing on the strategic direction but I like that I still get to use my specialist skills to drive the development forward.
