“We know that running a startup is different from running a conventional company, and especially access to finance can be of critical importance. We help the startups get an overview of the various sources of venture capital in the Nordics and their investment focus.”
- Lars Mørch, Head of Business Banking, Danske Bank
Female founders are still few and far between, so we want to support and encourage women to develop and realise their business ideas. In 2017, we arranged the first Startup Weekend FemTech in Sweden in a joint venture with SUP46, where the participants received coaching by experienced mentors from the FinTech industry.
Dedicated adviser network for growth companies
In 2017, we established Danske Bank Growth, a network of dedicated advisers across the Nordics with a passion for startups. The advisers understand the startups and their business models and are able to guide the young growth companies on their journey by giving them access to financial services and experts.
