Danske Bank is co-creating next generation digital platform together with business customers

Danske Bank is now launching the first version of a next generation financial platform in co-creation with business customers. The aim is to provide customers with one entry to financial data and insights from Danske Bank and other financial services providers.

When companies work on cash flow or liquidity forecasts, they often find it time consuming to get an overview of financial data and get the proper insights. Companies often rely on manual processes, and data is scattered across different systems and service providers. Dansk Bank is now launching the first version of a next generation digital platform that will make companies’ corporate day easier, so they can be more effective in their financial decision-making process.

“We want to provide our business customers with one login to all our banking services, relevant data across different service providers, data-driven advisory services and access to third party applications. All tailored to the different needs of our customers across large, mid-size and small businesses. This marks a paradigm shift in corporate banking, and for us it will change and strengthen our digital relationship with our business customer."

Customers are providing valuable feedback
Danish Agro is one of the companies that have been involved in co-creating the platform, and they are quite optimistic so far:

“We have been giving our input on the challenges we meet in our daily work where managing data does consume a lot of valuable time for us. We can see that Danske Bank is using our input to develop their new online platform, a platform capable of collecting data from banks, financial partners, ERP-systems and other suppliers, and presenting the data tailored to our specific need. We are excited to follow the further development”, says Peter Hertz Meincke, Group Treasurer at Danish Agro.

Thule Group based in Sweden is another example of a business customer who has provided insights and feedback on the new platform:

“In our company it is important that our decision-making process is constantly agile. A part of that is also being able to be more effective in our financial processes. This new platform is very promising in that way”, says Magnus Thagg, Group Director of Treasury at Thule Group AB.

Danske Bank expects to launch new features on the online platform on ongoing basis and in response to customer needs.
