Danske Bank helps sustainable start-ups at TechBBQ

With more than 5,500 attendees, the TechBBQ summit held on 24 and 25 September 2018 in Copenhagen again beat its own record as one of the biggest innovation summits in the Nordic region. Danske Bank was present with a stand offering business sparring to tech start-ups.

At Danske Bank’s +impact stand, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present a challenge live on screen and receive advice from experts from the Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, PA Consulting and others. In addition, our stand played host to numerous inspirational talks by other entrepreneurs and helped to generate new contact networks between entrepreneurs, experts, investors, Danske Bank and other interested parties.

We facilitate access to talent, financing and advice
Danske Bank’s +impact stand at the TechBBQ summit is just one of the ways in which Danske Bank is providing access to talent, financing and advice to start-ups who meet the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

One example of how the digital +impact platform can help is by connecting social entrepreneurs with competent experts who are able to solve some of the challenges start-ups face. This helps the start-up companies grow, which is of benefit to the wider society – and it is precisely this contribution to economic growth in society that is important to Danske Bank.

We can help with business knowledge and network

What Danske Bank can do for these social entrepreneurs is pump them full of business knowledge and equip them with a business network. They have a great deal of knowledge about societal impact, but when it comes to the business side of things, they lack the experience – and that’s precisely where we can help.
