As the only bank in the Nordics, Danske Bank are now entering an exclusive partnership with Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), the leading international not-for-profit organisation that works to promote investment in projects and assets that can enable the transition to a low carbon and climate resilient economy.
New report uncovers investors’ green thinking
Among other things, the partnership gives Danske Bank access to the latest market insights, and CBI today launches a Green Bond European Investor Survey, which Danske Bank is sponsoring.
By surveying 48 of the largest Europe-based fixed-income investment managers, the survey aims to identify actions and approaches that can potentially accelerate the issuance of green bonds, in Europe and globally.
CBI is an important part of the sustainable finance area, and we are very pleased to partner with them. Their new survey offers valuable insight into investor thinking, which can leverage our expertise towards issuers and investors, and in turn help us drive the green bond market even further.Bo Søndergaard

Partnerships supports our green ambitions
The partnership with CBI is an important step in Danske Bank’s commitment to help the societal transition towards a net zero carbon economy.
By developing the market for green bonds, we as a bank can help our clients to direct funds to projects and investments that have a positive impact on the climate and environment and thus support the societal transition towards a net zero carbon economy.Samu Slotte
