Danske Bank is committed to complying with accessibility regulations, specifically Act nr 801 of 07/06/2022, Act (2023:254) on the availability of certain products and services, Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (Chapter 50), Equality Act 2010 (Chapter 15), Act on Accessibility Requirements for Certain Products (102/2023).This Accessibility statement was published on 30.6.2025, providing information about our general compliance level and identified gaps in each of our digital services for personal customers. The statement will be updated annually.
We assess our compliance levels as partly compliant. Our aim is to adhere to levels A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as required by regulation. For certain solutions, we have also implemented WCAG 2.2, which includes up to six additional requirements. Below, you will find a list of recognized gaps for this concrete homepage.
Accessibility Status for Danskebank.com website:
The service is not yet fully compliant with the accessibility requirements; the following gaps have been identified:
- Some older archived videos do not currently meet the accessibility requirements, such as captions and transcripts. Within the allowed timeframe, these videos will either be updated or replaced with compliant versions.
- 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (AA): Contrast is not sufficient in some instances. This can make it harder to read the content for people with sight deficiency.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A): Definitions of fields sometimes missing correct set-up - which can result in partly missing functionality of assistive technologies.
Users may find that PDFs linked to our services are partly compliant. We are working to resolve identified gaps, which may cause screen reader errors, such as incorrect reading order as well as undefined link purposes, low contrast, and missing alternative text.
