As a Summer Trainee you get the opportunity to explore how the bank operates in practice and the types of services we offer to our customers. Most of our summer trainees are hired for customer service roles. In customer service, you will advise customers on daily banking matters such as payments, cards, accounts, and mobile banking. You don’t need prior experience from the banking industry. The ability and willingness to learn new things and contribute to great customer experiences is more important. We will offer you comprehensive on-boarding for your tasks, and experienced colleagues will support you throughout the summer.
I joined Danske Bank based on a recommendation from my friend. Integrating into the work community was effortless, and my new colleagues welcomed me openly. Most of our summer trainees work in customer service roles, either in local branches or in our central customer service. Occasionally, summer jobs are available in other units as well.
In customer service, you will interact with diverse customers with different needs. Today, customers can manage most of their daily banking online but may need some support and advisory. Therefore, your role requires good listening skills and the ability to solve problems with a positive attitude.
We provide an on-boarding for all summer trainees to help you to understand customer needs and to be able to offer the best solutions for our customers. During your summer employment, you will also have access to a lunch benefit. -
