Appointments at Danske Bank


Stock Exchange Announcement No 17/2005

Danske Bank has appointed Executive Vice President Lars Stensgaard Mørch and Executive Vice President Steen Reeslev to be senior executive vice presidents and members of Danske Bank’s Ex-ecutive Committee with effect from January 1, 2006.


Lars Stensgaard Mørch, age 33, is head of HR Development and has been involved in human re-source management since he joined Danske Bank in 1999.

Mørch was appointed senior vice presi-dent in 2003 and executive vice president in April of this year. From 1995 to 1996, Mørch worked in organisational development and human resources at Superfos, a major Danish packaging manufac-turer.

He took a masters degree at Warwick Business School in 1998, and from 1998 to 2003 he was an external lecturer at the Department of Organization and Industrial Sociology at the Copenhagen Business School.



Steen Reeslev, age 46, has been the head of Danske Bank’s Communications department since 1998. Reeslev was in charge of introducing the Group’s new corporate visual identity and communication strategies and was appointed executive vice president in 2003.

Steen Reeslev received a degree in journalism in 1986. He worked for the business section of the Danish daily Jyllands-Posten and subsequently joined the communications firm of Burson-Marsteller to take charge of its central European activities.

Reeslev left the position of managing director of Brinkmann Kommunikation to join Danske Bank.
