Organisational changes in the Danske Bank Group

Company Announcement No 11/2008

The Danske Bank Group makes a number of organisational changes with effect from April 1, 2008.

Steen Reeslev, head of Group Communications and a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, will take up a position outside the Group, and in that connection, most of the activities of Group Communications will be merged with Group HR, headed by Lars Mørch.

Thomas Mitchell, Group Business Development, will take up a position at Danske Capital and will be responsible for unit trust business. Thomas Mitchell will also be appointed Managing Director of Danske Fund. The new head of Group Business Development will be Georg Schubiger, CEO of the Group’s banking activities in the Baltics.

Mads Jacobsen, head of Group CIB, will take over as Chairman of the board of directors of the Baltic units and become an associated member of the Group’s Executive Committee.

Don Price, CEO of Northern Bank, has decided to retire on July 1, 2008. He will be succeeded by Gerry Mallon, currently Northern Bank Deputy CEO and head of Business Development, subject to regulatory approval. Gerry Mallon will also join the Group’s Executive Committee.
