New appointments in the Danske Bank Group

Press release

With effect from April 1, 2008, the Danske Bank Group makes the following appointments:

Jan Nielsen (aged 42), currently Area Manager of Vendor, Nordania Leasing, is appointed Senior Vice President and head of Danske Leasing at Danske Bank Denmark. The appointment is made in connection with the integration of part of the Group’s leasing activities into Danske Bank Denmark.
Klaus Søndergaard (aged 44), Nordania Leasing’s head of Credits, is appointed Senior Vice President at Group Credits.
Søren Haugaard (aged 50), head of Danske Markets Ireland Solutions, is apppointed Senior Vice President and head of CIB Markets and ALF (Group Acquisition & Leveraged Finance).
Henrik Frederiksen (aged 43), General Manager, Corporate Banking of the Greater Copenhagen Region, is appointed head of Business Development Corporate at Danske Bank Denmark.
Frank Vestergaard-Olsen (aged 41), Manager, Corporate Banking in the Greater Copenhagen Region, will be new General Manager, Corporate Banking.
Pernille Jørgensen (aged 38) Executive Board Secretariat – Group Legal, will be the new secretary to the board of directors. Pernille B. Jørgensen is also appointed Senior Vice President and takes over from Senior Vice President Steen Rasmussen (aged 64), who will retire on July 1, 2008.

Bent V. Christensen (aged 48), Corporate & Institutional Banking Denmark, is appointed head of Business Development at Northern Bank, subject to regulatory approval. Bent V. Christensen is also appointed Deputy CEO of Northern Bank.
