Danske Bank’s CIO to take up position with TDC

Executive Vice President Peter Trier Schleidt, CIO, has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President with responsibility for TDC Operations and Group COO. He will start in his new job on 1 October, at the latest.

“Of course, I’m sorry to leave Danske Bank where I have spent many good years,” says Peter Trier Schleidt. “But at TDC, I will have responsibility for the entire technical infra-structure, the production facilities and the IT systems. I could not let that challenge go,” he adds.

As Danske Bank’s CIO, Peter Trier Schleidt has been in charge of the efforts to optimise the Bank’s shared IT platform and launch many of the mobile initiatives which have been very well received in the past years.

“Obviously, I am very sorry that Peter Trier Schleidt is going to leave us,” says Eivind Kolding, Chairman of Danske Bank’s Executive Board.  “He has been a most competent CIO and has helped Danske Bank take a leading position as a provider of digital platforms and innovation. Moreover, he has been an inspiring person to work with and has always had a positive attitude.”

Peter Trier Schleidt continues as head of Danske Bank’s IT operations until he takes up his new position. Danske Bank will now start the process of finding a successor.
