On 1 August 2016, Henrik Gade Jepsen will become the new Head of Asset Management in Danske Bank’s Wealth Management business unit.
Henrik Gade Jepsen (age 53) comes from a position as Head of Securities at ATP. As Head of Asset Management, he will have overall responsibility for managing some DKK 690 billion of customers’ funds together with the more than 350 employees in the unit in the Nordic countries and Germany.
“Asset management is one of the cornerstones of our new Wealth Management initiative, and I am therefore pleased that we succeeded in attracting such an experienced and capable manager as Henrik,” says Tonny Thierry Andersen, Head of Wealth Management and Member of Danske Bank’s Executive Board. “Henrik will be in charge of developing innovative new solutions in asset management with the rest of his team while also ensuring that customers receive a competitive return.”
Last autumn, Danske Bank made a decision to establish a new unit that encompasses expertise in private banking, pensions, and wealth and asset management, with effect on 1 April 2016. With the appointment of Henrik Gade Jepsen, the senior management team at Wealth Management is now in place.
“Customers’ needs for innovative investment solutions and tailor-made advisory services are increasing,” says Henrik Gade Jepsen. “I therefore look forward to beginning my new job and helping to strengthen Danske Bank’s position in asset management for the benefit of the Bank’s personal and institutional customers.”
