Danske Bank buys back own shares

The Bank’s buyback programme comprises the buyback of own shares at a total market value of up to DKr3.0bn during the second half of 2003.

In the period from 15 to 19 September 2003, Danske Bank acquired 10.370.519 shares at a total market value of DKr1,320.8m through the use of the bookbuilding method.

The Bank will hereafter continue its buyback programme with the object of buying the remaining amount of shares directly in the market.

If, in the opinion of the Bank, market trends prove unfavourable, the Bank reserves the right to refrain, in part or in full, from buying back additional shares. In that case, the Bank will notify the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
