Danske Bank awarded Digital Financial Institution of the Year and Best Digital Customer Solutions

For the second year in a row, Danske Bank is awarded as the Digital Financial Institution of the Year among the large financial institutions in Denmark. This year, Danske Bank’s digital solutions were also awarded as the Best Digital Customer Solutions.

The Danish financial media outlet FinansWatch prizes the highest ranked institutions based on analyses carried out by the market research institute Wilke. The prizes were awarded based on among other things our online banking, webpage and ability to innovate. According to FinansWatch, the awards are also based on our internal work with robot process automisation and artificial intelligence and for our continuous work with customer and consumer insights.

“I am incredibly happy. These awards are given based on the users’ feedback and a very thorough understanding of what it takes to be relevant in this area. So I am very happy and proud on behalf of the bank,” says Line Munkholm Haukrogh, Head of Digital Banking in Danske Bank.

Consistency and innovation
According to Line Munkholm Haukrogh, the awards are a result of consistent customer involvement, a strong integration of digital solutions and innovation, “First of all, we are very consistent in involving customers and customer insights in our development processes. In that way, we continuously prioritise what is most important to our customers.

Further, we view our digital solutions and strategic approach as a part of driving a bank today. It is not isolated from the general service or relations. Thirdly, we dare to prioritise new things. A mobile bank needs to be more than what it was a few years back.”
