Danske Bank lowers interest rates

Press release: Danske Bank lowers interest rates.

As a consequence of Danmarks Nationalbank’s lowering of certificate of deposit rate on June 8 by 0.20 of a percentage point, on August 14 by 0.10 of a percentage point and on August 28 by 0.10 of a percentage point, Danske Bank Denmark lowers its interest rates on variable-rate loans and deposits by up to 0.40 of a percentage point.

The change will take effect on September 7, 2009.

On August 28, 2009, an interest-rate lowering of 0.10 of a percentage point will take effect for loans on which the rate is directly linked to Danmarks Nationalbank’s certificate of deposit rate. The change concerns Danske Prioritet and Danske Prioritet Plus, for example. The interest rates on these loans were lowered by 0.20 of a percentage point on June 8 and by 0.10 of a percentage point on August 14.
