The Danske Bank Group has appointed two new senior executive vice presidents and members of its Executive Committee.
Eva Hald (aged 39) is appointed head of Group Communications and Helle Havgaard (aged 50) is appointed head of Group HR.
Eva Hald, who holds a law degree from the University of Copenhagen, leaves a position as director for Strategic Projects at Stakeholder Relations, Novozymes A/S. Her former responsibilities at Novozymes include positions as head of Press Relations and director for Corporate Branding and External Communications. Before Eva Hald joined Novozymes, she was Nordic External Affairs & Public Relations manager of Diageo, legal adviser at International Data Post A/S and managing clerk at the Equal Status Council.
Helle Havgaard, who holds a law degree from the University of Copenhagen and has a Danish bar exam, leaves a position as Senior Vice President and head of Group Human Capital at ISS. Her former responsibilities at ISS’s Danish unit include positions as head of the legal department and HR manager. Before Helle Havgaard joined the ISS Group, she was in charge of the legal department of the Danish Association of Managers and Executives and section head at the Employers’ Association for Trade, Transport and Service.
Eva Hald and Helle Havgaard succeed Lars Mørch, Member of the Executive Committee, who is currently in charge of Danske Bank’s Group HR & Communications. As stated in a previous announcement, Lars Mørch has been appointed head of the Group’s Swedish banking operations with effect from January 1, 2010.
