Danske Bank lowers interest rates

Press release

As a consequence of Danmarks Nationalbank’s lowering of its lending rate on September 25, 2009, by 0.10 of a percentage point, on December 11, 2009, by 0.05 of a percentage point, on January 8, 2010, by 0.05 of a percentage point and on January 15, 2010, by 0.10 of a percentage point, Danske Bank Denmark reduces its interest rates on variable-rate loans and deposits by up to 0.25 of a percentage point.

The change will take effect on January 25, 2009.

On January 15, 2010, an interest-rate reduction of 0.10 of a percentage point will take effect for loans whose rates are directly linked to Danmarks Nationalbank’s certificate of deposit rate. The change concerns Danske Prioritet and Danske Prioritet Plus, for example. The interest rates on these loans have already been lowered following the Danmarks Nationalbank’s former cuts in its certificate of deposit rate.
