Management changes at Danske Markets

Henrik Normann, Member of the Executive Committee of Danske Bank and Head of Danske Markets, will leave Danske Bank at the end of February 2012 to take up a new job as President and CEO of Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) on 1 April 2012.

Executive Vice Presidents Jens Peter Neergaard and Glenn Söderholm have been appointed joint heads of Danske Markets with effect from 1 March 2012. Neergaard and Söderholm will report to Executive Board member Thomas F. Borgen.

Henrik Normann has been with the Danske Bank Group for more than 25 years and has been a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee since 2001. Apart from his position as head of Danske Markets, Normann was head of Danske Bank Denmark from 2006 to 2010.

"It has been a privilege to work for the Danske Bank Group for so many years and to have been involved in developing Danske Markets and merging the branch networks of BG Bank and Danske Bank,” Henrik Norman says. “Now this exciting opportunity has arisen to try something entirely different while still benefiting from my long experience with Danske Bank."

Peter Straarup, Chairman of Danske Bank’s Executive Board, thanks Henrik Normann for his great contribution to the Danske Bank Group:

"As head of Danske Markets and of Danske Bank Denmark, Henrik has left a significant mark on the Group, delivering good results and satisfied employees and customers. I would like to thank Henrik for his dedication to the Group and wish him all the best in his new job."
