Why Sustain Tomorrow?

Sustain Tomorrow was born from the belief that we need bolder perspectives, ideas and open conversations to explore how today’s choices shape a better tomorrow for Nordic societies, businesses and individuals.

The history of Sustain Tomorrow

2023

In 2023, Danske Bank for the first time invited experts, businesses and opinion formers to a conversation on the global challenges of tomorrow.

Every day, we as a bank must ask the important questions that help both our customers and ourselves develop in an ever-changing world. The world is changing and evolving, so we cannot just lie back and regurgitate the answers we already know.

Carsten Egeriis

CEO, Danske Bank

2024

In 2024, we continued our ambition to engage experts, thought leaders, customers and stakeholders in broad discussions and perspective-sharing regarding some of the world’s biggest challenges – including climate change, geopolitical uncertainty and AI.

2025 and forward

In 2025, we have discussed how competitiveness is never built in isolation, and how leaders can transform uncertainty into an advantage by building the right alliances, advancing bold ideas and creating lasting value through innovation and partnerships.

Moving forward, we continue to explore perspectives and ideas and to stimulate conversations with the aim of gaining a greater understanding of how today’s choices shape a better tomorrow for Nordic societies, businesses and individuals – one example being the discussion about how competitiveness is never built in isolation.
